Meet The Team.

Hi I'm Sue, I own and actively manage Octanauts Swim School

I have been involved in teaching swimming for close to 25 years, it is my passion that every child and adult should learn to swim, share a love for the water.

My early years were spent assisting beginners at a local swimming club prior to gaining formal qualifications in 1999.

I am also an experienced Tutor of Swimming Teachers and National Tutor for the Royal Life Saving Society.

Over the last 10 years I have developed swimmers, lifeguards and teachers internationally.

Hi I'm Nichola, known to most as Nic.

I teach at Tiverton Monday and Wednesday, Riverbank Tuesday and Thursday, Cardinal Wiseman on Fridays. I also teach at Riverbank on Saturdays for the SEND sessions.

As well as being a swim teacher I'm a mermaid instructor.

I'm passionate about my role and get great pleasure from teaching.

I'm a mum of 3 and enjoy spending my spare time with my family.

Hi I'm Ria,

I teach at King Henry's prep on Thursday and at Riverbank on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

As well as a teacher I am also an Aquabatix instructor.

I am passionate about my job and love to see everyone gaining confidence in the water and progressing through the stages.

Water safety is a very important life skill that I feel everyone should learn.

I am a mum to 4 daughters so in my spare time I love to spend time with my family having fun.

Hi I'm Braydon, I teach at Cardinal Wiseman on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Fridays at Tiverton. I also assist on Saturdays at Riverbank.

Hi i'm Vicki, I teach at Cardinal Wiseman on Mondays and Wednesdays, I also teach at King Henry's Prep School on Tuesdays.

Hi I'm Marcel and I've been swimming all my life.

I'm currently at sixth form studying Engineering.

I started working for Octanauts in 2018, which is where I began assisting in the water. During Lockdown I gained a few more qualifications and I am now a qualified swim teacher.

I teach at Cardinal Wiseman on Friday evening and at Riverbank on Sundays.

I really enjoy helping out and watching all the swimmers progress through their stages.
