From January 2022 we will be offering a trainee programme for those aged 16 to 18 who'd like to experience working in the leisure industry

What is involved:-

Committing to working alongside Octanauts employees for and venue staff for

10hours per week for 12weeks

What will you gain:-

*Pool Lifeguard Qualification

*First Aid Qualification

*Safeguarding Certificate

*Aquatic Helper Certificate

*Customer Care Certificate

Upon successful completion of the traineeship.

Will I get paid?

Trainees do not get pay, expenses will be covered for all training and qualifications

What happens at the end of the 12weeks?

The opportunity to apply for any available positions with Octanauts

If no positions are available or you are unsuccessful you will be directed to alternative local companies and a reference provided

Customers are reminded if they, or a member of their household, has, or have, any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, they are not to enter the swimming facility or attend swimming lessons.

- Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms such as:

a)    A new continuous cough

b)    A high temperature

c)    A loss of, or change to sense of smell or taste

Are advised to stay at home a self-isolate in line with government guidelines
